Upgrade Proxmox VE to Latest Version Safely

Upgrade Proxmox VE safely with backup and repository checks first.

Step 1: Verify Repository Configuration

Node → Updates → Repositories. Enable correct repo.

Step 2: Review Available Updates

Updates tab → Refresh. Review package versions.

Step 3: Run Upgrade via Shell

Run apt update && apt dist-upgrade. Reboot if kernel updated.

pveversion -v && apt dist-upgrade
